The Philippine embassy in the Iranian capital of Teheran has submitted to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila an operational plan for the repatriation of over 1,000 Filipinos stranded in Iran’s Kish island. Today there are more than 3000 people waiting for their visa.
Most of them stayed there for more than a month already. Some more than 2months since August, have no money or run out of money for food.. Women are being molested or raped. Two have died already because of hunger.

I feel so sad what they are experiencing... I'd like to help but dont know how..
I went to Kish Island last August for an exit also. lucky me - i was granted a visa 5 days after..

Im from UAE and i heard about the news that a filipino died because of hunger..I think we should do something atleast.
we cannot donate stuff because of the immigration securities in Iran, me and some of my flatmates collected money and send thru western union.
Macy - i think right now its very hard to send money thru that.. there is a church and member in dubai coordinating with people stranded in dubai..
yup, we also collected some money from friends and sent it because 2 of our friend is stranded and have no money already.
Sir, pls dont spread some lie around, in Iran nobody dies coz of hunger, they need to go to gov. official or to a masque and ask for food or helpe, im sure that they would helpe them.
also private people on street or shops etc would helpe them, always be honest with your self.

I had a cousin in Kish right now waiting for his visa. How can I send money to Kish? Is there a WESTERN UNION or other means of money transfer? because when i go to western union website. there's no Iran country in there. i was opptimistic since Kish is an Free Trade Zone so probably there is...
