'Twilight' : the movie

Twilight. It's everywhere. On bookshelves. On the big screen. On bedroom walls, key chains, binders, notebooks, calendars, refrigerators... Everyone is talking about twilight.
You name it, and Edward and Bella are plastered across it.
There is no doubt it's because of the big success of the movie, an adaptation of the popular vampire-love-story book series that has grossed $150 million since its Nov. 21, 2008 debut.
And as someone who watched of said movie, I can already tell that this frenzy won't die down anytime soon, since they became favorite of all Love-story movie fanatics.

Synopsis: TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met. Edward is a vampire, but he doesn't have fangs and his family is unique in that they choose not to drink human blood. Intelligent and witty, Edward sees straight into Bella's soul. Soon, they are swept up in a passionate, thrilling and unorthodox romance. To Edward, Bella is what he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when a clan of new vampires – James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) – come to town and threaten to disrupt their way of life?

Vampires and romance are not new in movies, but Twilight gives them enough of a twist to make it interesting, and enough on that twist to make it far better than its outlying plot makes it sound.

A sometimes girlie swirl of obsession that will delight fans, this faithful adaptation is after teenage blood, and will most likely hit a box office artery

What's the big deal about this film?,I must be the only one on earth who never heard of the books or this film,it looks as bad as they come.We don't have 'enough' vapid teen horror films I know but this really looks dumb. Why didn't they just make Paris Hilton as the female lead?.

Both the novel and the movie.
I watched it online and thought it was pretty lame.
Overrated.

I see -- there are comments that this movie isn't that much interesting. very mushy, for others but i think the movie maker addresses it very well ( teeners ) that's why its a big hit in theaters.
